A series of booklets created for a large media agency. These were developed as a series of guidebooks on the various processes involved in pitching for new business.
The brief asked for a crisp and clear design that would be instantly accessible, usable and recognisable. The outcome also needed to communicate the key ideas of organisation, direction and delivery.
A refrained colour palette was chosen for the booklets, using one bright brand colour alongside black and white, where needed, variety was created using tints. The booklets were simply distinguished from each other by using a different brand colour. The design revolved around a versatile chevron shaped graphic. This bold angular graphic helped suggest a message of clear and organised direction. On the front cover a brightly coloured chevron was placed above a backdrop of dark angular shape in varying shades of black. Here the chevron clearly marks the path across this backdrop of stylised uncertainty, symbolising the possible confusion and the clear direction needed for a successful new business pitch. Throughout the booklets the chevron marks and directs the viewers eye around the page, highlighting key information.
