An internal wall-based installation project, promoting the Virgin Media Vivid House Party work within the agency. The design brief asked for a bold, eye catching and engaging display with a ‘wow’ factor that would highlight this cutting edge, client first, 3D virtual reality advert.
The designed focussed on promoting the USP of the Virgin Vivid advert; its 3D virtual reality. The aim was to create a space that would capture and bring to life the advert’s house party content, the cutting edge technology involved, and the excitement surrounding the advert as a whole. A scene was created using large-scale arms holding a 3D reality headset, on which the advert played. These were printed, mounted and installed as separate pieces, giving the display a subtle 3D element, echoing the advert itself. A dramatic abstract backdrop was created, giving a sense of the energy and excitement of the house party advert playing on the giant headset. Geometric angular shapes cut through the abstract party backdrop towards the viewer, hinting at the dynamic technology powering this party, whilst further promoting the 3D aspect.
