A promotional campaign for employee engagement experts, Involve. The campaign centred around a printed book that parodied the famous Ladybird series.
The design brief asked for a book to be created in the style of the Ladybird series, with the layout, typography and design were to mirror it. The outcomes also included a number of GIF web banners, at various sizes, to promote the book.
The imagery was paramount to the success of this campaign, as such, great care was taken in the consideration, selection, and treatment of each image. Photographs were chosen using a number of criteria including age/time period, relation to the text, and comic effect. The photographs were then treated in Photoshop to create the impression of an illustration/painting, similar to the images within the Ladybird series.
